Southern Turf Products was established in March of 2010. It was opened in a time when the economy was still very unstable, coming out of one of the country's worst recessions. Some people would say we were dillusional to think we could open a business in this time of economic crisis. However, we saw a need for an outdoor power equipment dealer, in an area that needed a fresh face. We also saw opportunity in a community called Chattanooga, TN. This community is seeing huge strides in economic gains. Chattanooga has become one of the nation's premier places for new industry and business. This business was founded on this principle, first class service for first class products. As the owner, I have owned a successful landscaping and irrigation business in a nearby community, so I have been on our customers side of the counter very recently. We want our customers to know that the products we sell would be the products we would buy if we were the customer. More importantly in the case of getting that product serviced we run our service department as the center of our business. We have one shot in most cases to get it right and we WILL get it right. I am very involved in the daily operation of my business and if you ever feel like you are not getting treated the way you would treat somebody, do not hesitate to let ME know. General Manager - Brandon Cissom
Brandon Cissom is the General Manager for Southern Turf Products. Brandon joined us in February of 2010. Brandon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Lee University. Brandon has worked in retail for over 8 years and knows what it takes to make customers happy. Brandon has also attended some of manufacturer's service schools and has what it takes to find the answers our customers are looking for. Brandon manages all the day to day operations, and looks forward to meeting our customer's needs. Brandon is from Cleveland, TN. He is married and enjoys playing golf on his time off. Service Manager - Adam Hall
Southern Turf Products Service Department is the backbone of our business. Anybody can sell quality products. We want to be able to keep your business and we will do that through one word, Service. Adam Hall, service manager, has 15 years of experience. Adam joined us in March of 2010. As our lead tech he has been certified by all of our engine manufacturers, attended Diesel School, and was recently certified to service propane fuel systems in equipment. Adam is from Nashville, TN and has an extensive background in the Landscape/ Equipment Industry in Nashville. Adam enjoys 4-wheeling and working on old cars during his down time. Parts Manager - Andrew Rankhorn
Andrew Rankhorn is the one of our newest team members. Andrew has an extensive background in the Outdoor Power business. Andrew has worked in parts for over 15 years. He as extensive knowledge in 4 cycle engines and specializes in 2 cycle anything. We like to think of Andrew as our walking parts Wikipedia. He has recently completed his Briggs & Stratton, Master Service Technician Certification, and has been certified by most engine manufacturers.
